The Mines and Geosciences Bureau Regional Office VIII conducted an Orientation for its newly appointed personnel on October 07, 2020 at the MGB-08 Annex Building.
The orientation’s main objectives were to: (1) introduce the MGB organization, its vision and mission, mandates, organizational structure, policy directions, and plans and program; (2) help new employees understand the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Policies, and DENR and MGB rules and regulations; (3) make them aware of the benefits and compensation; and (4) help them understand their commitment, job performance and management expectation.
In his message, RD Leo Van Juguan emphasized the need to conduct such orientation to new entrants in order to keep them guided and equipped with the right information as well as values to help them perform well in their tasks. He likewise encouraged them to continue learning everyday and be guided by the DENR Core values in the performance of their tasks.
Various presentations were presented particularly on the policies, programs and services of the Office as presented by the support divisions.
