MIPC PRESENTS PROJECT TO MGB-08

In the recent monitoring conducted by OIC, Mine Management Division & Project-in-Charge Engr. Romulo Babatugon on June 22, 2015, it was observed that the ore/waste stockpile dam and limestone rock dam needs to be augmented. Considering that the rainy season is in the offing, the augmentation is expected to keep acidic drainage from flowing to small tributaries and to the communities. It was likewise noted that the Agohodel Monte species planted in 2007 by MGB-RO8 along the access road has flourished as well the species planted by Ecosystems Research and Development Bureau (ERDB) last year using phytoremediation procedures.
