A Certificate of Accreditation No. 2015-005 was issued to MJ Builders Enterprises  represented by Jed G. Garcia with business address Palo East By-Pass Road, Brgy. Baras, Palo Leyte on July 9, 2015 by the Mines and Geosciences Bureau Regional Office No. 8.

As part of the efforts of the MGB to combat illegal mining, Engr. Babatugon, OIC-MMD, oriented and explained to Mr. Garcia the importance of said accreditation and the roles and functions of an accredited company pursuant to Chapter 13 of RA 7942. It is stipulated in Sec. 128 that the trading of minerals/mineral products and by-products either locally or internationally is prohibited, unless registered with the DTI and accredited by the Department and a copy of the same is submitted to the Bureau.
